Last weekend, I was in Guangzhou at the opening of a new MBA class; the first class which I then taught over the weekend.
Most of the participants were successful businessmen and entrepreneurs, so the weekend was very much an interchange of ideas and experiences, laced with some critical examination of theory.
Guangzhou is a thriving city, indicative of the progress of that great country. I was also able to visit several of the universities and witness the massive emphasis the country is placing on teriary education.
