Afternoon Singapore Bound Train at Bahau

The famous 'jungle' train: the local train that stops all stations from Tumput on the Thailand border to Singapore. The train leaves very early in the morning and arrives in Singapore late in the evening.

The train has been notorious for being late. The last time I travelled on this train, it was 2 hours late. This day, it was running 3 minutes early!

Shots captured with my Leica D-Lux 1.

Notice there were quite a crowd on the station, waiting to take this train.

The driver still had a good sense of humor, even after such a long hot trip!

Notice the use of flags both on the train and platform.

The driver is very careful before leaving the station.

Possibly travelling on the step of the carriage was cooler than inside!

Making its way from the station, through the first level crossing, and heading for Gemas.
